This Privacy Notice tells you what to expect in relation to personal information about you which is collected, handled and processed by JHL Communications Limited. JHL Communications Limited of 1 Woodside Place, Glasgow, G3 7QF is the Data Controller.

We acknowledge and agree that any personal data of yours that we handle will be processed in accordance with all applicable data protection laws in force. The information we may collect

The information about you we may collect, hold and process is set out below; Information collected and processed for submission of order supply in relation to telecommunications services (details dependant on Network/supplier) is as follows;

  • Your name
  • Your address
  • Your email address
  • Your telephone number
  • Proofs (Driving license, Passport, Utility bills) required in relation to credit checking for contract generation for Sole Traders and individuals

How we use the information

This information will have been provided, or will be provided, by you solely for the purpose of credit checking in line with pre engagement checks in relation to generating and implementing a network contract and the delivery of services.

How we hold the information

All the personal data we have is stored on our systems in the UK. Personally Identifiable Information will be password encrypted and deleted when no longer required.

Disclosure of your information

Your personal details may be sent to prospective networks. They will be encrypted and password protected. Such networks will be located inside the UK, personal data shall not be transferred to a country or territory outside the EEA unless that country or territory ensures an adequate level of protection or the appropriate safeguards are in place for your rights and freedoms.

What is the legal basis for processing the information?

We rely on your consent to process the information that’s collected at the outset of the service delivery once a quotation is signed. Information and documentation to establish your identity and credit liability by us, and the service provider, we are legally obliged to do so.

Once the connection of services have been completed, we may also process your data on the basis of our legitimate interests i.e. for administrative purposes.
